Sweet and salty yogurt parfait

Who doesn't love a salty-sweet snack? This Greek yogurt parfait is the snack, especially if you're craving a little dessert after dinner! While we don't recommend too much snacking before bed, this nutritious treat is loaded with protein from Greek yogurt and almonds. Protein will satisfy those evening snack cravings and balance your blood sugar. This snack is also high in magnesium, a mineral that plays a role in producing melatonin and preparing our bodies for sleep.

Ingredients
 ¾ cup Greek yogurt
 ¼ cup Raw almonds
 ¼ cup Crumbled pretzels
 2 tbsp Finely chopped dark chocolate (60%)
 ½ tsp Cinnamon

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place almonds on a baking sheet.

Spray almonds lightly with cooking spray and sprinkle with 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Toss to coat.

Roast almonds for 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently.

Chop pretzels, chocolate, and almonds. Combine in a bowl with 1/4 tsp cinnamon.

Assemble your parfait: place a few tbsp of Greek yogurt in the bottom of a glass jar, then top yogurt with a layer of the almond/pretzel mixture.

Continue to layer your jar until ingredients are used up.

Garnish with a dusting of cinnamon or an optional drizzle of honey and enjoy immediately!
