Kefir Overnight Oats


Kefir is a fermented dairy product that has three times more probiotics than yogurt. This easy breakfast idea is a great way to introduce kefir into your diet while at the same time providing a healthy amount of calcium, protein, and fibre to start your day. By preparing it the night before, you are guaranteed to have a nutritious and hassle-free morning.

Makes 1 serving


  • 1/4 cup quick oats
  • 1/2 cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 1/2 cup low fat greek yogurt (plain or flavoured)
  • 1/4 cup low fat, plain kefir
  • 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed or chia seeds
  • Optional: 1 Tbsp almond slivers or a drizzle of honey


  1. In a bowl, mix together all ingredients
  2. Cover and place in fridge overnight
  3. Enjoy the next morning as is or top with almond slivers and/or drizzle of honey
