Dietitian Health Tip: Vegetarian sources of Omega 3

In addition to fish and omega 3 eggs you can try adding these vegetarian sources of omega 3 fats to your diet: walnuts, walnut oil, flaxseed or flax oil, canola oil, olive oil, soybean oil, hemp hearts or seeds, hemp oil, chia seeds, soybeans, tofu and wheat germ.

Did you know that fish don’t synthesize their own omega 3 fatty acids but obtain them from algae and plankton in their diet?
