Fitness Tips: Make the most of your everyday activities

Turn your errands into workout sessions.

  1. Park at the far end of the mall, and take a lap or two of the mall before making your purchases.
  2. Bus to work instead of driving and jump off a few stops early!
  3. Take the stairs at work – add a few stair climbs throughout the day to get the heart pumping!
  4. Go for water breaks regularly to get up, walk and stretch the legs
  5. Keep small weights at your desk for some quick bicep curls or do 15 jumping jacks between phone calls
