Who doesn’t want to eat cookies for breakfast? The good news is that these banana nut breakfast cookies are a perfect way to start your day! Full of protein, fibre and omega 3 fatty acids, your morning bowl of oatmeal is now in cookie form. Not only can these cookies be eaten for breakfast, but they’re a perfect afternoon pick-me-up for those long work-from-home days.

Ingredients
 2 Bananas, mashed
 1 Egg
 ½ cup Natural peanut butter
 1 tsp Vanilla
 ½ cup Oats
 1 tsp Baking powder
 ¼ cup Ground flax
 1 tsp Cinnamon
 4 tbsp Hemp hearts
 ½ cup Each of chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, and chopped walnuts

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375 F. Mix together mashed bananas, egg, peanut butter, and vanilla.

In a separate bowl, mix oats, baking powder, ground flax, cinnamon, and hemp hearts together.

Combine wet and dry ingredients.

Mix in chocolate chips, pumpkin seeds, and/or walnuts.

Scoop onto cookie sheet and bake for 10 minutes.
