Almond Butter Spiced Apple

This is a simple, healthy twist for a mid-morning or late afternoon snack.  Look for your favourite crisp local apple, and spread on some contrast


  • 1 apple
  • 1 Tbsp almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp cinnamon
  • pinch of freshly ground nutmeg


  1. Cut apple in half, quarter and remove core
  2. Spread each quarter with almond butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg
