With most of us staying home more than we are used to, we have a little extra time to hang out in the kitchen! This is a great opportunity to improve your skills in the kitchen, and try out some new recipes.

Chia seeds are a great source of fibre, healthy fats, calcium, and plant based protein. These tiny seeds gel and form a pudding when combined with milk or water. Chia seed pudding serves as a quick and filling breakfast to help you start your day right. Watch me show you how to make a healthy and delicious pudding that requires you to be in the kitchen for less than 10 minutes!

 ½ cup frozen blueberries
 1 tsp cinnamon
 ½ tsp vanilla extract
¾ cup milk or milk alternative
 2.50 tbsp chia seeds
1 tsp maple syrup (optional, add this for a sweeter treat!)

Place all of your ingredients except for your chia seeds into a blender and blend until you have a smooth consistency, 1-2 minutes.

Pour this liquid into a jar and thoroughly stir in your chia seeds.

Let everything in your jar sit for 5 minutes.

Stir one last time to get rid of any clumps.

Place in the fridge overnight and serve chilled the next day.
