Medically supervised personal training

For most of us the risks associated with exercise are limited to musculoskeletal injury resulting from improper technique or a poor warm-up or stretching routine. However, some people with certain medical conditions should receive proper medical advice and exercise guidance when beginning a program.

If you are concerned about a pre-existing medical condition or your family physician has asked you to be cautious about physical exercise, then our Centre’s medically supervised personal training program is an excellent option.

Our trainers

Copeman Healthcare employs kinesiologists with advanced training and certification in personal training who design programs under the supervision of family doctors and sports medicine specialists. Doctors are always available within the facility and all staff are trained in advanced cardiac life support. The kinesiology staff are pleased to provide training services at any level, from those newly committed to exercise as part of a healthy lifestyle, through to advanced strength and conditioning for experienced amateur and professional athletes.

No referral necessary, however we are also happy to receive referrals from providers with further details on current care plans.
