Richelle Mottosky is a Registered Psychologist practicing at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in Calgary. She received her training and relevant degrees in Calgary and Washington and is a member of Psychology Association of Alberta, College of Alberta Psychologists and Canadian Psychology Association. Previous professional activities include university settings, community agencies and most recently, private practice.
Richelle has over 14 years of experience in the helping profession. She provides counselling to individuals experiencing a variety of difficulties including life transition issues (i.e., life stage issues, marriage, parenting, grief, loss, divorce), anger, self-esteem/self-worth issues, stress, assertiveness, conflict, relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, addictions, and eating disorders. Richelle completed a thesis in the area of Resiliency which has shaped her approach to counselling.
Her focus is to highlight client’s strengths and abilities in order to develop and strengthen resilient ways individual can cope with inevitable life stressors. Richelle strives to develop and maintain professional and effective working relationships by co-developing strategies and goals that positively contribute to individuals overall sense of well-being.
