Nicole Mireau is a Registered Dietitian at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in Vancouver. She completed her undergraduate degree in dietetics at UBC, followed by a year in Saskatoon completing her dietetic internship with Saskatoon District Health.
As a native Vancouverite, she promptly returned to the west coast to escape the never ending winter and has been practicing here ever since. Her previous work has been in the non-profit, public health and private sectors. Her areas of expertise include infant and early childhood health, healthy feeding dynamics, mindful eating and understanding how our environments shape our eating behaviour. She is keenly aware and observant of the fact that many complex factors influence people’s food choices. As a result she works in partnership with her clients to help them identify barriers to healthy eating and set up their lives to experience the successful achievement of their goals.
Outside of work, she loves spending time with friends and family, going to farm market stands, watching funny movies and flipping through cookbooks while curled up on the couch with a cup of tea.
