Mathieu-Luc Boulet is a Kinesiologist at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in Vancouver.
Mathieu completed his bachelor degree from Laval University in Quebec City with a sport performance concentration. He spent his last semester in France with an international profile mention at the University of Law and Health in France where he specified his knowledge of sport physiology and performance. This is also where Mathieu was introduced to physical rehabilitation within an interdisciplinary team in a clinical setting.
In order to benefit from the interdisciplinary approach that was expanding on the west coast, Mathieu moved to Vancouver where he developed his skills in physical rehabilitation. He has a keen interest in human physiology and kinetics and has extensive experience working with both musculoskeletal and metabolic disorders. Mathieu also has extensive knowledge performing fitness assessments, direct calorimetric VO2 max assessments, spirometry, resting metabolic rate and electrocardiogram. Mathieu is passionate about working with a multidisciplinary team in order to implement individualized rehabilitation, chronic disease management and sport performance exercise programs.
Outside of work, Mathieu’s passion for sports and to foster healthy lifestyle habit continues. Mathieu enjoys running, playing soccer, skiing, long-boarding and is an outdoor enthusiast.
