Laura Sawler is a Physiotherapist at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in Calgary.
Laura graduated from Dalhousie University in 2011 with her Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. She also holds a bachelor of science in Kinesiology from St. Francis Xavier University and is certified in Acupuncture and dry needling. She was thrilled to join our team after venturing from the east coast seeking adventure in the mountains and city living.
Laura’s passionate about pelvic health physiotherapy with a focus on relieving pelvic pain, incontinence and prolapse. She is trained to complete a thorough internal and external examination and combines this with manual therapy, education and a home exercise program. She has extensive experience in advanced strengthening and conditioning protocols, post-surgical rehabilitation, as well as treating acute and chronic pain.
Laura always enjoys a new challenge and is dedicated to providing individualized treatment plans for every client. Her treatments incorporate a combination of myofascial release techniques, acupuncture/dry needling, therapeutic modalities, exercises and education.
Laura loves being physically active with a focus on strength training and is heavily involved with the competitive Alberta powerlifting and Brazilian bobsleigh teams.
