Gail developed her work ethic over 17 years of competitive swimming and was recently inducted into the UBC Sports Hall of Fame. In addition to her swimming achievements, Gail competed internationally for 7 years on Canada’s National Lifesaving Team where she earned several Canadian records, qualified for the World Games and won two individual Commonwealth Championship gold medals.

If Gail’s first love is competition, her second love is travel, which may explain why she studied both Commerce and Geography at UBC. After graduation she was bitten by the travel bug and spent nearly three years living and working in Ireland.

Outside of work Gail is an avid bike commuter, explores the Sea to Sky as a skier and hiker, and enjoys wine tasting locally and abroad.
