Gabrielle Ciquier is a Psychometrist at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in Vancouver. She completed a B.A. in Psychology at Concordia University and a M.Sc. in Psychology at University of Montreal. During her Master’s, she developed and evaluated the efficacy of a psychosocial intervention – known as reminiscence therapy – to improve the quality of life of older adults with moderate to severe dementia living in long-term care. Her primary areas of interest comprise aging, dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and cognitive/psychosocial interventions for older adults with cognitive deficits.
