Dr. Elisa Assadi is a family physician at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in Vancouver.
Dr. Assadi obtained her Bachelor of Science, with a major in Behavioral Neuroscience, as well as a Medical Degree from the University of British Columbia. She subsequently completed a residency program specializing in family medicine in Victoria.
Dr. Assadi assumed various leadership roles during her training. She was the president of the Medical Undergraduate Society and was selected as the Chief Resident during her residency. She has received numerous accolades, including the Doctors of BC Change-Maker Award and the College of Family Physicians award for her commitment to family medicine.
Though she maintains a broad scope of practice, Dr. Assadi is most passionate about preventative medicine, women’s health and care of young families. She is experienced in acute and urgent care, and regularly works in emergency departments in rural BC communities. Dr. Assadi is certified in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
When she is not practicing medicine, Dr. Assadi enjoys hiking, travelling and discovering unique restaurants. She spends time with her family and her little dog, Luna.
