Dr. Debbie Salzman is a family physician at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in North Vancouver. She has always focused on preventive healthcare and active lifestyle. She is open to complementary therapies and believes in a holistic approach to one’s health. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and a Masters of Science in Health Studies from the University of Waterloo. She received her medical degree from McMaster University and did her family practice residency at the University of British Columbia.
Dr. Salzman has worked part time in Executive Health in downtown Vancouver. This has given her years of experience with corporate clients assessing their health and fitness needs and developing customized and comprehensive health management programs.
Dr. Salzman is the Canadian consultant for HTH Worldwide, a health insurance company that provides health care services to international travelers in 180 countries worldwide. She has a personal interest in travel medicine and has traveled extensively in Europe, South America, Asia, Africa and North America. She loves to run, having completed many half marathons and marathons. She enjoys cycling, skiing and tennis. Food and culinary arts are her passion.
