Dr. Amy Weber is a family physician at the Copeman Healthcare Centre in West Vancouver.
Dr. Weber obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Victoria and has a masters in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from McGill University. Prior to undertaking medical training she worked as an epidemiologist both in Canada and South Africa with a special interest in HIV/AIDS epidemiology. She has also published numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals.
Dr. Weber completed both her medical degree and Family Medicine training at UBC and has a passion for comprehensive primary care. She has held board positions with the BC College of Family Physicians, Society of General Practitioners and the North Shore Division of Family Practice. She is also active with the Coastal Family Medicine training program through UBC. Dr. Weber is also the co-founder of a charitable organization that supports women and children in Lesotho, Africa.
