Diagnostic & Screening Coordinator
Banafsheh had the pleasure of working in the medical / laboratory field for the past 20 years.
She began her career as an Operating Room Technician at Akhtar Orthopaedic Hospital in Tehran, Iran where she gained experience and exposure to various diagnostic and treatment equipment, hospital processes and protocols.
After immigrating to Canada she completed a Medical Office Assistant / Laboratory Assistant diploma program at Stenberg College in Vancouver, BC. Her education, skills, and experience have given her the ability to hold positions as an EKG assistant at Vancouver General Hospital; a Lab Assistant and Phlebotomist at Canadian Blood Services; a paramedical examiner for Watermark; and as a Diagnostic Lab Coordinator for Copeman Healthcare.
One of the most rewarding aspects of her career has been her interaction with people from all walks of life.
She feels grateful for all that this career has brought her and looks forward to continuing her work in the healthcare field.
