Amrit Malkin is a registered dietitian at Copeman Healthcare Centre in Vancouver.
Amrit integrates the latest scientific research in a practical and light-hearted manner to support the individualized needs of her clients. She uses an upbeat and collaborative approach to nutrition counselling to help people set and achieve sustainable goals by supporting the development of self-management skills and encouraging a sense of mindfulness.
Amrit received her Dietetics and Master of Science in Human Nutrition degrees from the University of British Columbia and is also a Certified Diabetes Educator and Insulin Pump Trainer. She has worked in a variety of settings with both adults and youth, and brings this diverse experience to her clinical nutrition work. She specializes in both type 1 and type 2 diabetes and has a particular interest in insulin pump and continuous blood glucose sensor technology.
