Dr. Cindy Mitchell

Family Physician

Dr. Cindy Mitchell is a family physician at the Copeman Healthcare Centre. She graduated from the University of British Columbia in 1987 and finished her family medicine residency at the Calgary General Hospital in 1989. She has had her own family practice in Calgary for the past 18 years. "Dr. Cindy" is known for her warm, down-to-earth bedside manner and sense of humour . She loves to spend time getting  to know her patients. Her philosophy is that we have to look at the body as a whole, including mental health, in order to understand it better. Cindy has a general family practice for male and female patients of all ages, but her special interests include women's issues, gynaecology and paediatrics. Her passion is low risk obstetrics, including labour and delivery. She works out of the Foothills Hospital, and will be helping to develop a "Mom and Baby Clinic" at the Copeman Healthcare Centre.
