Organizational Wellness
Advanced Technology for a Healthy Workforce
The Copeman Healthcare Centre has developed sophisticated, evidence-based tools to help you assess the health of your organization, create better health and benefit programs, and ensure your organization is operating at maximum levels of productivity.
The heart of the Centre’s Organizational Wellness Program is a computerized Health Management System (HMS). This internet-based technology allows personnel to assess their relative risk for 12 cancers, 4 chronic diseases, stress, anxiety, depression, general mental health and brain health. When implemented, your staff will receive valuable information on their health status as an immediate benefit. You will get an anonymous report that breaks down organizational wellness and health risk by condition. The HMS displays an overall organizational wellness “score”, broken down by job type, location or any other grouping that the organization wishes to monitor. This score can be used as an effective means of measuring the effectiveness of the organization’s employee health and wellness strategy.

The HMS does not stop at risk assessment. It shows each of your staff what can be modified in their personal lifestyle to lower each risk and how much each risk factor is affecting their health. By giving your staff an idea of how high their risk is of any particular disease, and then showing them simple steps to lower it, both the motivation and the education are provided to improve the chance of real lifestyle change.
The HMS is also a secure Personal Health Record that provides you and your staff medical and healthcare support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Here are some of the features your staff will enjoy:
- Online laboratory and test result “vault”
- Active surveillance of laboratory measures
- Medical summary for emergency use or communication with professionals
- Scheduling, reminders & notes for all medical appointments
- Online Health Report (if assessed at the Centre)
- Comprehensive educational resources
- Personal library of health & prevention news feeds
Trends in laboratory and other assessment data are carefully monitored by staff with the support of advanced computer technologies to ensure the earliest possible intervention.
Once the HMS has provided the organization with the information it needs to better plan for health and wellness programs, the professionals at the Copeman Healthcare Centre can assist in the implementation of effective risk reduction programs and strategies.
