The Centre offers a wide range of specialized health services that enable an organization to consolidate its employee health services with a respected provider, saving costs while improving overall levels of service.
Travel Medicine: Not taking proper precautions when personnel are traveling to a foreign country can result in illness and unexpected medical expenses. Personnel contracting a disease can also spread it within the workplace. The staff of Copeman Healthcare Centre are trained to educate your personnel on travel risks, and can provide all immunizations required for international travel.
High Altitude Medicine: Travelers to high mountainous regions of the world (particularly applicable to industries like mining) must understand the prevention and recognition of altitude illnesses. Lack of education and preparedness can lead to serious illness, and sometimes death. Copeman Healthcare retains a PhD specialist in high altitude medicine to properly prepare individuals.
Stress Management & Coaching: In conjunction with the Copeman Neurosciences Centre, the Centre can provide key personnel with risk assessments, counseling, coaching and a structured program for dealing with harmful stress that can disrupt personal and family life – and that may lead to more serious medical and mental health problems.
Pandemic Planning: The Copeman Healthcare Centre can assist your organization with medical policies, infection control supplies, community resource linkages and direct medical advice on planning for potential pandemics, including influenza and avian flu.
Immunization Programs: Group immunizations for Influenza, Hepatitis B and other industry or location-specific diseases can be administered on-site or through the Centre.
Ergonomic Assessments: The physiotherapy and kinesiology staff of the Copeman Exercise Medicine and Rehabilitation Centre can provide an on-site assessment of office furniture & equipment and individual working posture to minimize the risk of work-related neck, back and hand injuries.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP): Copeman Healthcare can act as a trusted third party for dealing with confidential employee health issues. With a full range of conventional medical services and advanced mental health programs available at the Centre, personnel can have a single point of contact and minimum delays in receiving the care and counseling they need.
