The Copeman Healthcare Centre is staffed with distinguished physicians, nurses, physiotherapists, kinesiologists (exercise specialists), registered dietitians, lifestyle coaches, psychologists and support staff to deliver the most advanced programs of health management and disease prevention available in the world today.

Brenda Poole
Executive Director

Brenda is a consummate engager with great facilitation skills, and has a track record of getting things done with a great deal of respect, patience and compassion. Brenda is a strategic thinker with extensive knowledge and experience in healthcare management, planning, and business development.

Prior to joining Copeman Healthcare, Brenda worked for Calgary West Central Primary Care Network and Alberta Health Services where she served as a Consultant on a variety of projects ranging from developing an after-hours clinic program to creating a business plan for the Alberta Central Zone Family Medicine group for all aspects of hospital coverage.

Brenda also served as Managing Director of the Pure North S’Energy Foundation, where she redesigned and restructured the overall operation; Executive Director of the Big Country Primary Care Network where she was responsible for service implementation and expanding the PCN with 4 new clinics in 3 Alberta communities; and Director of Primary Care Business Planning and Reform for Alberta Health Services.

Brenda is a Registered Nurse, and holds Bachelor of Nursing from the University of Lethbridge. She holds a variety of certificates in areas ranging from Project Planning to Prosci Change Management, and is currently working on her Master of Arts Integrated Studies from the University of Athabasca with a focus on work, organization and leadership.
